Its September, and the days are getting shorter (and colder). If your a parent, your probably celebrating your kids going back to school. And if you are going back to school... well, forget you read that bit.
With September comes the start of autumn and the beautiful colours smells and flavors which accompany it. If your looking to enjoy just that, then Harrogate is the perfect place to be. On the 12th of September the Pinewoods will be alive with family fun: including a petting farm, a bouncy castle and an amazing chainsaw sculpture demo. There is also a farmers market on the 10th which boasts a brilliant selection of locally sourced produce and the autumn flower show which will take place between the 18th and 20th.
If its alcohol your into then get down to the RHS gardens on the 19th and 20th of September to sample a selection of quaffable real ales and ciders from all over Yorkshire. Drink them in the beautiful surroundings that RHS Harlow Carr has to offer. See more at: http://www.visitharrogate.co.uk/in-the-area/harrogate/whats-on-around-harrogate?p=2.
For those of you who like a show, September is a brilliant month at the Royal Hall. For sport lovers, the most opinionated man in cricket, Sir Geoffrey Boycott, is challenged by radios Jonathan Agnew (16th September). If your into classical music London's Mozart Players come to Harrogate for one night only on the 19th.
The highlight of this month, for Comedy Lovers, is the return of star of ITV's "Take me Out" Paddy McGuinness. Paddy will be bringing his northern charm to Harrogate's Royal Hall as one of the first venues on his brand new 2015/2016 tour. And the only thing that can make that better? Brio are offering a 3 course early bird menu for the price of 2, thats just £12.99, for all show goers! Make sure you show your ticket before ordering.
So come join the family this Semptember...
